Jonathan Thornton is one of the Isle of Wight's most prominent business figures, best known as the CEO and Managing Director of PC Consultants, a company he started his career with over twenty years ago.

In a landmark recognition of the company's achievements under Jonathan’s stewardship, PC Consultants was honoured with a King's Award for Enterprise for Promoting Opportunity, receiving the award at Osbourne House from the King's Representative for the Island, Lord Lieutenant Susie Sheldon.

Jonathan is a graduate of The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK programme, designed to provide high-quality, practical education and business support to leaders of high-growth small businesses and social enterprises across the country.

He has played a significant role in representing the Island's business community. As current Chairman of the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce, former President and much sought after mentor to others in business. Jonathan is equally active supporting charitable causes across the Island, including as a long-time supporter of Wight AID and The Ellen MacArthur Foundation.

Brian Marriott was born in Ryde and studied Graphics at Portsmouth Art College. During which time he also followed a career as a professional footballer, playing for Bournemouth FC and England Youth, before hitting the crossroads of life and having to make a decision of which road to follow - in hindsight Brian believes he made the right decision.

An amazing self-employed journey since establishing Marriott Design in 1971 with a team of 16 creatives, developing a career spanning 5 major revolutions in print and media innovation.

 Brian has spent his life surfing the wave of generations of change in the design industry - from hot metal type, paste-up, scalpels, cow gum, air brush, IBM golf balls and film setting, to the first Mac, DTP, Multi-media and of course the Internet.

 He is also a Trustee for The WightAid Foundation and Independent Arts, Designer of the Wight Book, Co-Founder of ConnectedWight.com and a Representative for IW Open Studios.

Steven Wells is Director of multi-award winning Luccombe Hotels, which includes Luccombe Hall and Luccombe Manor. He runs the businesses with his sister Clare, continuing the family’s proud tradition of Isle of Wight hospitality.

With a vision to position the hotels as destinations in their own right, Steven has invested in facilities that stand out. Luccombe Manor has become the South East’s most dog-friendly hotel, whilst Luccombe Hall offers experiences rarely found in small family-run hotels.

Steven utilises a people-focused, hands-on approach to invests in the team, guest relationships and the businesses to ensure year-round tourism appeal.

Beyond his business, Steven has spoken at the Hospitality and Tourism Roundtable at the Houses of Parliament, champions sustainability in tourism, and worked with the Solent Careers Hub to promote tourism as a career of choice for young people.

Steven is also Vice-Chair of Visit Isle of Wight, the island’s DMO. He is committed in this voluntary role to ensuring governance and best practice, promote collaboration and support the Island’s tourism industry to thrive.
